By accessing our website, placing an order, or purchasing from Layered Visions 3D, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service.

🧾 Products & Services

Layered Visions 3D provides:

  • Custom 3D printed products
  • NFC-enabled products and accessories
  • Custom design and prototyping services
  • Wholesale manufacturing

All products are created using additive manufacturing processes and may contain minor variations in color, finish, or texture.

💳 Orders & Payment

Orders may be placed through:

  • Our website
  • Invoices
  • Email or written agreement
  • Purchase orders

Payment terms:

  • Orders under $500 → full payment required upfront
  • Larger orders → may require a deposit before production

We accept multiple payment methods including credit/debit cards and digital payments.

Failure to complete payment may result in delayed or canceled orders.

🏭 Production Time

Production timelines vary based on order size and complexity.

Typical lead times:

  • Small orders: 3–7 business days
  • Large/wholesale orders: 7–21 business days

These are estimates only and may be affected by:

  • Production demand
  • Material availability
  • Equipment maintenance

We are not responsible for delays outside of our control.

🧠 Nature of 3D Printed Products

Due to the 3D printing process:

  • Layer lines may be visible
  • Minor imperfections may occur
  • Colors may slightly vary
  • Tolerances may differ by material

These are normal characteristics of 3D printed products and are not considered defects.

📁 Client-Supplied Files

If you provide logos, artwork, or design files:

  • You confirm you have the legal right to use them
  • You assume responsibility for any copyright or trademark issues

Layered Visions 3D is not liable for intellectual property disputes related to customer-provided files.

🧬 Intellectual Property

Unless agreed otherwise in writing:

  • All designs, files, and production methods remain property of Layered Visions 3D
  • Purchasing a product does not grant ownership of the design files

You may not:

  • Reproduce
  • Distribute
  • Manufacture

Any of our designs without written permission.

🎯 Custom Orders

Custom products are:

  • Made specifically for you
  • Non-returnable
  • Non-refundable once production begins

You are responsible for reviewing and approving all designs before production.

⚠️ Defects & Issues

If your item arrives defective:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide photo or video proof

If confirmed, we may:

  • Repair
  • Replace
  • Issue a refund (at our discretion)

Normal wear, misuse, or improper handling is not considered a defect.

📡 NFC Products

NFC-enabled products depend on third-party technology.

We do not guarantee compatibility with:

  • All devices
  • All operating systems
  • Future software updates

Customers are responsible for ensuring compatibility with their intended use.

⚖️ Limitation of Liability

Layered Visions 3D is not liable for:

  • Indirect or incidental damages
  • Misuse or modification of products
  • Issues arising from resale or third-party use

Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the product or service.

🛠️ Product Use

Our products are not certified for:

  • Medical use
  • Structural applications
  • Safety-critical use

You are responsible for using products safely and appropriately.

📦 Wholesale Orders

Wholesale orders may include:

  • Minimum order quantities
  • Custom pricing
  • Deposit requirements

Wholesale buyers may not reproduce our designs without written permission.

🚚 Shipping Responsibility

Once an order is handed to the shipping carrier:

  • Risk transfers to the customer
  • We are not responsible for carrier delays, loss, or damage

🌪️ Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure caused by events outside our control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Equipment failure
  • Supply shortages
  • Government restrictions

🚫 Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By completing a purchase with Layered Visions 3D, you agree to contact us first to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

  • You must allow us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue, provide a replacement, or issue a refund where applicable
  • Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may be considered a violation of these Terms

We reserve the right to:

  • Dispute any chargeback that does not comply with this policy
  • Provide proof of delivery, order confirmation, and communication history to the payment processor
  • Refuse future service to customers who initiate fraudulent or abusive chargebacks.

⚖️ Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.

Any disputes will be handled in courts located within New York.
